While I’ve been known to rescue all kinds of forgotten furniture, my sweet spot is vintage vanities with identity crises. I turn them into bold, head-turning side tables, that are equal parts functional and fabulous. Why vanities? Because they’ve got great bones, loads of character, and—bonus—they’re way easier to ship across the country than a 200-pound armoire.
